# WOO® Vegan: Plant-Based Protein for Real Performance

> Plant-based nutrition and peak performance are no longer a contradiction. What the research shows and why WOO® Vegan is a fully fledged alternative.

Plant-based nutrition and peak performance were long considered a compromise. That has changed. Not through persuasion but through research data.

## The problem and the solution

Plant proteins face two challenges: lower biological value and antinutrients. The solution: **pea protein** (rich in lysine) + **rice protein** (rich in methionine) = a nearly complete amino acid profile, the foundation of WOO® Vegan (70% pea + 30% rice).

## What studies show

Joy et al. (2013, Nutrition Journal) compared rice protein vs. whey over 8 weeks: **no significant differences** in muscle mass, strength or body composition. Lim et al. (2020, Nutrients): with sufficient total intake, results comparable to animal proteins.

**Caveat:** Vegan athletes need about 10-20% more total protein (2.0-2.7 g/kg).

## WOO® Vegan: what it contains

**Leucine optimization** for maximum muscle protein synthesis. **Integrated micronutrients:** vitamin B12, iron, zinc. **Free of:** soy, gluten, artificial sweeteners. Available in cocoa and walnut. Available in our shop.

## Who WOO® Vegan is especially suited for
